Work wound up being a little bit of a mess but not really in the way I was thinking. Just really busy the whole day. I don't have to go back to the offices of that carrier, but I do have to deal with an IT guy on the West coast that works a late shift guiding me through things, though that's honestly preferable. I did finally go back to StS2 today too. And I finally got a fucking ascension 1 win with Ironclad. Hellraiser + double Pommel Strike good. I like the Doorkeeper replacement, it's kind of a Time Eater Lite but I think that's fine, and the debuff being a status card you get every 4 card played means that it still puts pressure on you, just in a different way. Time Eater is a boss that I think is really interesting to fight but really frustrating to lose against, and I think this new boss might strike a better balance even if it feels much simpler. I honestly don't even dislike the Doorkeeper fight but I also agree with the devs that it had reached a point development-wise where they basically had to start over.
